KidzCode AI was established in 2020 to introduce Computer Science and coding concepts to students in Hertfordshire during the lockdown. This initiative was driven by the vision of its founder, Huria Kelifa, an experienced Computer Science teacher and IT professional with extensive industrial expertise. Huria understood the advantages of early exposure to text-based coding such as Python programming language and Computer Science for primary school students, laying the groundwork for their transition to secondary school and future career.
Fuelled by a passion for nurturing young minds and bridging the gap between technology, education and industry standards, KidzCode AI was born to empower local children through coding and Computer Science. Recognising the increasing importance of digital literacy in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) in the modern world, Huria set out to create dynamic and engaging classes that would make learning coding accessible, enjoyable, and enriching for kids.
Through KidzCode AI, Huria aspires to inspire the next generation of tech-savvy innovators, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of technology. The journey of KidzCode AI is not just a story of education; it’s a testament to the power of one person’s vision to shape the future of learning for the benefit of all types of children (Primary and Secondary students).
