After School Coding & Robotics Club – Berkhamsted Prep School

Sign up to learn Python, one of the most popular computer programming languages, widely used in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Data Science, application development, and game development. Mastering Python will prepare learners for secondary/senior school and future career opportunities.

Lessons are carefully structured with clear learning objectives and targeted outcomes, suitable for all levels of learners. Challenges are designed to cater to varying skill levels. Learners will explore key Python programming concepts, including:

• Robotics & Artificial Intelligence
• Application Development
• Game Development
• Web Development
• Problem Solving (Computational Thinking, Decomposition, and Abstraction)

Pupils will take part in a 60-second VEX IQ Robotics match on a 6×8-foot robotics field
(Rapid Relay 2024 – 2025 Game), a fun and competitive challenge. Please note that this is only an internal competition between the students in this club at Berkhamsted.

Please note that places are only secured upon full payment. We have a maximum of 15 places available, and once all spots are filled, no further sign-ups will be accepted.
